May Newsletter 2012

Dear Friend,

“The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving towards all he has made.”(Psalm 145:13)

It’s my prayer that this newsletter finds you well in all things, counting Him faithful, He who made you, to take care of you in all things as you trust in Him.

April has been such an adventurous month for us here, with a lot of activities going on, but most importantly the great desire for us to be used by God as we minister in the lives of others and really seeing God at work.

Youth Camp
The month kicked off with a youth camp, where many young people were encouraged in God and others said “Yes” to Christ for the first time. At the end of the Camp, those who had received the Lord were baptized, including 2 boys from the village we penetrated last year from the closed communities in the south of Mexico.

El Calor soccer team
El Calor continues to enjoy victory. Recently as we finished off the running up entering into play-off there was a team, some of whose players have gone on into first division, who beat us 3-0. As we entered the last 16 on nationals, we were assigned to play the same team. The players prepared themselves both spiritually and physically to face their giants, having mastered the other team’s playing style; we were able to get a double victory of 6-0, allowing us to enter the last 8. If we win this week’s matches, we will be in the quarter-finals (A Dios Sea La Gloria-To God be the Glory)

Village ministry
The village ministry continues to flourish, thank God for the additional members on the team. Myrna is really doing a great job, especially with the women and children. Most recently she organized a young women’s activity, where we took nail vanish kits, with another new team member Margarita, and painted the nails of the women in the village as they ministered to them. Every week as we witness God touching the lives of the people, we have decided to give out 2 bibles each single week, with a goal at least for each family in the entire village to get a bible. We are in need, of 70 bibles for a start, with each bible costing $6 UD.  If you would like to donate a bible, please get in touch.

Conferences and Future outreaches
It has been an honor, that my past few weeks have been filled traveling to different places, while maintaining my responsibilities here in San Pedro.  I have had speaking engagements, mission’s conferences, radio interviews, and really getting to encourage others. It gets down on me, wherever I go, more and more people feel they want and desire to serve the Lord and using the talents He has given them but they don’t know how. Please pray that God will use us in this area as we hear from Him and be of good encouragement to those who want to serve Him better.
This month, I have a youth camp coming up this weekend, and later a trip in the State of Durango about 4 hours away from here, where I will be leading a team of short time mission’s students, holding open air services, and also meeting not only the spiritual needs of the people, but also their physical needs as we will be taking food and clothes for the people.

Thank you so much
I am very grateful for all your prayers and support. I am always encouraged to hear from you and to know how I can also pray for you. Looking at every way I am a blessing to the people around me and the lives that are touched and changed by the powerful loving grace of Jesus, I know and I am convinced you play a great part in it all and you are a partaker of the Grace that the Lord has bestowed on my life. I am so thankful to have a friend like you.

Please Continue to Pray
1-    For God’s wisdom. May He lead and guide us as we venture into all the ministries He is allowing us to spear head, and be part of. May He give us the right words as we encourage those who want to serve Him better.

2- Pray for the availability of resources, finances and much needed help. “For this month’s special request, bibles for the village families.” (For information on how you can get involved by giving to a specific project, please get in touch)

3-   Lastly, please pray for the security situation in Mexico, and as we overcome every challenge we encounter along the way. May we always have a meek and humble heart, always ready to hear God, and walk in righteousness.

Dear friend, May you enter this year’s summer in full Confidence of the seed of God’s word in your heart,, knowing He whom you have invested your Trust in cannot lie, but see on it that each one of His promises are fulfilled in you.

Much blessings and love
Donald

“Donald Kamese is a remarkable young man who has learned a lot—and with his approach to life will continue to learn much. Young people—and all people considering life and missions—will benefit greatly by reading his book.”

A review by John Lindner, Editor, ANM World Missions Magazine

I am very happy to report that finally Mission Possible goes into the main stream market online such as Amazon, major distribution channels like Banners and Nobles and Book data bases worldwide making it available to order in any book store/library near you. I am already receiving reports from those who have read the book and have been greatly encouraged to serve the Lord! One missionary from the US said;

“I wish I had known these cultural differences before hand, saving me the frustration of all misunderstandings I have encountered in Mexico.”
