Dear Friend,
Warm greetings to you and all your loved ones. It is always a pleasure on my side taking time to write to you. How are you?
I recently re-read a little but very encouraging famous children’s book entitled “The little Engine that could.” It very much reminded me of the verse “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” (2Tim 1:7) and how important it is to always keep a positive mind set at all times regardless of what is going on in our lives.
Talking about God’s Spirit empowering us, last month has been full of surprises on my side. Filled with experiences from all the wonderful encouraging and challenging people I got to meet during my recent US trip. It is experiences like these that have always challenged me to keep going higher in the pursuit of God for the purpose of my life. In the last 7 weeks I have been able to minister in the lives of over 1250 people, using 3 different languages! These ranging from business persons to soldiers and the homeless- in churches, book stores, libraries, sports fields, buses, airplanes and the street. Thank God for His Grace!
The ministry in the villages continues to move ahead and healthy. I have been very encouraged by the work of the leader I left in charge during my absence. The church in Delicias, I found it in a new look. As some wonderful ladies had bought some paint and painted the entire building.
I still continue with my language learning very much. This year I am focusing on Portuguese with some time dedicated to Russian (I am also being connected to a Russian couple that lives an hour away from San Pedro). With Portuguese, I get to practice at times with a missionary friend who studied the language. As a result, I have been able to connect with a friends who are missionaries and run a tribal evangelism ministry in Brazil. We have been talking about as a part of my language learning-I might be able to visit Brazil for a month or so in November this year, in order to get a good usage of the language, and be on a high way to fluency. At the same time helping and learning with the tribal ministry, a strong area I am already implementing here in Mexico with the village ministries. (If you would like to support my trip to Brazil, please do send me an email at Loveisking@hotmail.co.uk so I can let you know the best way to do so, or simply use the donate button on my blog: http://www.loveisking.blogspot.com/ )
Please continue to pray

Ministry News
New Ministry
A new ministry that the Lord laid on my heart recently is the orphan ministry. This happened after I met a wonderful brother named Eric in a book store where I was holding a book signing in Grants Pass Oregon. Eric represents a ministry called “Homes for Good Foundation” that focuses on the adoption of children, based on the foundation that we all need a sense of belonging. Just like God has adopted us to Himself, we too can “Bring the fatherhood of God to orphan children,” bridging the gap between orphan houses or institution-to-adoption into loving families.
For those of you who know my testimony, having lost a sense of belonging as a child, and had to find it later as an adult, my heart arches for the children around me who are going through the same road. I don’t know exactly where God is leading me concerning this particular ministry, but I have already gone through bible studies and I am teaching on the topic. Also this morning I made a visit to a lawyer’s office that specializes in adoption laws here in Mexico. I will so much appreciate your prayers on this.
Progress and Future plans

I am very grateful for all your prayers and support that you offer me. I am always encouraged to hear from you and to know how I can also pray for you. Looking at every way I am a blessings to the people around me and the lives that are touched and changed by the powerful loving grace of Jesus, I know and I am convinced you play a great part in it all and you are partaker of the Grace that the Lord has bestowed on my life. I am so thankful to have a friend just like you.
Please continue to pray
1- For God’s wisdom to over flow in my life as I desire to press toward the high calling and reach out to others every single day. Also as I learn these additional languages to serve my generation.
22- Pray for the availability of resources and much needed help
33- Lastly, please pray as I overcome every challenge I encounter along the way. May I always have a meek and humble heart, always ready to hear God, and to take godly counsel from His faithful servants.
Dear friend, may you a blessed month. My prayer for you is that you will keep a positive mind as you trust Christ within you to empower you in what you need to get done. Just like the “Little Engine,” may you keep the “I think I can” attitude always, as you make use of every talent the Lord has entrusted in your life.
Much love and blessings
Donald
