Dear Friend,
Warm greetings your way! I pray you had a wonderful Easter, and that you are enjoying your relationship with the father, having been adopted into the royal family through Christ.
The past entire week all around the world the media had its spotlight on the preparation of the royal wedding in England. As I watched the video footage of the weeding of the Prince of England and his now beloved wife, Romans 8:15 come to mind. ““For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.” I was very much reminded of our adoption as sons and daughters of the most High King, and the confidence we have because of what Jesus did for us at the cross.
Ministry News
God’s faithfulness has been felt all around us. As more people are being touched and their lives impacted by God’s grace and goodness. We have just finished a youth camp, well attended by over 130 teenagers and young adults. Where I had a “Praise through Dance” Class, dynamics and a 10/40 window prayers focus night.
As a result, we had a number of people including 4 prison inmates say “YES” to Jesus for the first time in their lives, and 8 baptisms. All Glory to God!
Two of the people Baptized last Sunday included Chi-a young man who went through such a troubled childhood on drugs, whose story I shared in my November 2010 Newsletter. And Rosy a young woman who went through an intense death and life situation, whose story also featured in my January and February 2011 Newsletters; all of which can be found on my blog at www.loveisking.blogspot.com .
The ministry in the villages continues to grow. And more village ladies are participating in the micro-finance project. Providing the ladies with raw materials such as thread to produce doilies and table mats for sale in the markets. The women are now also teaching the younger woman and I am happy to report early sales of their wares have been very encouraging.
Mission Travels
At the Beginning of April, I had the opportunity of visiting the south of Mexico. Invited by an Operation Mobilization (OM) representative, I visited, taught and preached in different churches, Bible institutes and schools; I also got the opportunity to visit a Children’s home in San Marcus in Jalisco. I continue to pray about God’s direction on the Orphan-adoption Ministry I shared about in March Newsletter. Please continue to pray for me on this.
Construction
The church contraction goes on very well. God has been faithful in all areas of need. We are now just finishing off the roofing, and will be embarking on the electric installation part. Please pray for the availability of resources on this part. To see photos of the building and more of the youth camp, please go to http://sanpedroshm2.blogspot.com/ .
Thank you so much
I am very grateful for all your prayers and support that you offer me. I am always encouraged to hear from you and to know how I can also pray for you. Looking at every way I am a blessings to the people around me and the lives that are touched and changed by the powerful loving grace of Jesus, I know and I am convinced you play a great part in it all and you are partaker of the Grace that the Lord has bestowed on my life. I am so thankful to have a friend like you.
Please continue to pray
1- For God’s wisdom to over flow in my life as I desire to press toward the high calling and reach out to others every single day.
2- Pray for the availability of resources and much needed help (Especially for the contraction project.)
3- Lastly, please pray for the security situation in Mexico, and as we overcome every challenge we encounter along the way. May we always have a meek and humble heart, always ready to hear God, and walk in righteousness.
Dear friend, may you enjoy a blessed month. My prayer for you is that you will walk and live in confidence through the realization of what Christ did for you on the cross. Awaiting patiently the Heavenly royal wedding as a Royal Prince or Princess in the Kingdom of God throughout all eternity!
Much Blessings and Love
Donald
