Dear Friend,Happy belated New Year!! As I splashed my face with water this morning, I looked out the window only to be met by a beam of rainbow rays directly into my eyes. The rainbow stood out as a reminder of God’s faithfulness and never ending light that will shine even if all else fades!
Most have their resolutions in place this year, plans to be achieved, and for most of us we have started marking their progress in the last few weeks. In the midst of all the planning, I am reminded of a time in my personal life last year which I describe as being at the end of the rope, having run out of all options and with all plans A, B, and C plus applied but backfired. A verse that stood in my life then was “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:21) May God’s wisdom direct you in all ways as you entrust all your resolutions and plans this year.
MinistryGod is always very adventurous in all aspects of our lives as we trust Him. As the year swung in on the 1st January, my memory was filled with the preparations of my sermon in a lovely community church in Ohio. Ever since the beginning of the year, I have had encounters with many individuals from different walks of life, whom I met in churches, streets, book stores, bus rides and schools. But all holding to the same goal this year, to be more passionate about God.
Although this time for met proves to be very busy, I feel very much God’s hand at work as He uses my life to inspire love and passion in the lives of those with a deep desire to serve Him, and loving Him more. This time of travels also works as refreshment in my own life. It’s during this time that God shows me what I need to be doing more in my ministry and how to minister to others more effectively. I am also very much indebted to the great men and women that God uses to be such a great encouragement my life.
I am in touch with my co-workers in Mexico, and God continues to rise up people with a great passion for Him. I am in contact with my friend Victor, the young man whose story I mentioned in my November newsletter. He continues to minister in the villages during my absence, God is magnified through his life. Right before the 2012 rolled in, I gave myself to fasting and praying to let deep down within me connect with God. One of the things I felt Him laying on my heart for this year is the need to disciple and train up leaders. In the last 3 weeks I have had the honor of meeting 7 people who had had the desire of serving God, but not being clear what and how. As one put it, our meeting was like seeing this beacon a far off, as it shad some light into God’s path for her life.
Needless to say, speaking invitations are already coming in from all over Mexico; my schedule is filling up the first part of 2012, including being a guest speaker in two different radio broadcasts. I will also continue to press forward and develop the Adoption ministry. One of the upcoming projects is to translate an adoption bible study that some friends have been working on for the last few years. (Watch this space for more news about this) Keep on with Church planting, Drug Rehab and the village ministry. Please continue to pray for more harvesters in the field, may I press toward the high calling of God as I train up others to serve Him.
Thank you so much I am very grateful for all your prayers and support. I am always encouraged to hear from you and to know how I can also pray for you. Looking at every way I am a blessing to the people around me and the lives that are touched and changed by the powerful loving grace of Jesus, I know and I am convinced you play a great part in it all and you are partaker of the Grace that the Lord has bestowed on my life. I am so thankful to have a friend like you.

1- For God’s wisdom to over flow in my life as I disciple others like Victor to press toward the high calling and reach out to those who don’t know the good news. May He lead and guide us as we venture into all the ministries He is allowing us to spear head, and be part of.
2- Pray for the availability of resources, finances and much needed help. (For information on how you can get involved by giving a specific project, please get in touch)
3- Lastly, please pray for the security situation in Mexico, and as we overcome every challenge we encounter along the way. May we always have a meek and humble heart, always ready to hear God, and walk in righteousness.
Dear friend, May this year be full of abundance for you and all your loved ones. As you look to God, following that small tiny voice in the inside of you saying “THIS IS THE WAY, WALK IN IT!” May God’s Goodness and grace up lift you in all your ways. May you entrust Him with all you plans this year, because he cares for you.
