July Newsletter

Dear friend,

Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,  For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now.”(Phil 1:2-5)

This month has gone by without much notice indeed, as we entered in with a lot planned and really just letting God lead us in all areas as we went on to serve him and with Him!

The village ministry is going very strong on every side. New people are coming to the full comprehension of the word of God ever. We have also been giving family bible studies since we started to distribute bibles to families. Just sitting down with a family and teach them what God’s word says about all aspects of life and any questions they may have. This has generated a new bond in the lives of many, as they learn how to search and apply the living word for themselves.

Spreading the word
Thank you so much for your prayers, we had such a wonderful conference in San Luis potosi with the indignant tribe I mentioned in my last newsletter. As we got there, people’s hearts where so hungry to hear about the Lord. We held full 4 days conferences and visited 2 main tribal villages. The people were so lovely and we were given great hospitality. What struck me most is the simple kind of way they live still in jungle life of growing their own food, not having such things that most of us consider very basic like electricity and developed water systems. Both of the villages we visited in the mountains, they have to depend on rain for their water supply year after year! An 83 year old wonderful man who hosted us said in his entire life he has never gone without water. It touched my heart deeply as I was reminded of God’s grace and how He calls us to be faithful in every little thing. I am so thankful, my uttermost and only desire is to live for His Glory!

Being so touched after the trip, I came back with a Mission Possible mind-set for us here in San pedro to send out a team on a short team missions trip with a possibility of two people from the group going back out there for full-time work in 6 months time.. We now have a team of 6, one school teacher, two nurses and 3 dedicated youth from “Templo Christiano Libertad-TCL” (Christian Liberty Temple)!”

Church dedication
This coming weekend June 30th-July1st is marking the full dedication of TCL. The building project begun in the summer of 2010 and has now come to full structure, although still with some missing details, God has proved faithful time and again. We are excited as the church building is dedicated to serve the local community, not as a religious building, but as a refuge and fortress for those who are weary, hungry and thirsty for a new life in Christ. May they be filled! To God be the glory!

Mexican presidential elections
This coming weekend is also marking the end of the Mexican president Felipe Calderon since 2006. It is in his reign (according to the media) that over 55,000 Mexicans have lost their lives due to the drug war force. Many people are hurt by this, and others praise him for standing up to the drug lords in his country. But whatever the view, you and I know NOTHING ever happens without the almighty God knowing! Please join the Meixcvan people in prayer as they elect their next leader wisely; believing with them “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice” (Prov 29:2a)

Please Continue to Pray
1-    For God’s wisdom for us. May He lead and guide us as we venture into all the ministries He is allowing us to spear head, and be part of. May He give us the right words as we encourage those who want to serve Him.

2- Pray for the availability of resources, finances and much needed help. (For information on how you can get involved by giving to a specific project, please get in touch)

3-   Lastly, please pray for the Mexican elections, and as the people chose their next leader. “The prayer of a righteous man is powerful!”

Thank you so much
I am very grateful for all your prayers and support. I am always encouraged to hear from you and to know how I can also pray for you. Looking at every way I am a blessing to the people around me and the lives that are touched and changed by the powerful loving grace of Jesus, I know and I am convinced you play a great part in it all and you are a partaker of the Grace that the Lord has bestowed on my life. I am so thankful to have a friend like you.

From a humble and thankful heart,
Much blessings and love
Donald

“Donald Kamese is a remarkable young man who has learned a lot—and with his approach to life will continue to learn much. Young people—and all people considering life and missions—will benefit greatly by reading his book.”

A review by John Lindner, Editor, ANM World Missions Magazine

I am very happy to report that finally Mission Possible goes into the main stream market online such as Amazon, major distribution channels like Banners and Nobles and Book data bases worldwide making it available to order in any book store/library near you. I am already receiving reports from those who have read the book and have been greatly encouraged to serve the Lord! One missionary from the US said;

“I wish I had known these cultural differences before hand, saving me the frustration of all misunderstandings I have encountered in Mexico.”
